A logo that is meant to go on everything from the side of a large sign, to a business card, to a tiny tag on the inside of a shirt needs to be simple so that no matter where it is placed, it fits right in. Thus, fitting an entire detailed lobster and house in the small space that a logo needs to be isn't exactly feasible. So the challenge was to figure out, what are the most representative little parts of each entity, and how to put them together. 

STEP 1: Draft 

After consulting with the client about their brand colors, motto, mission, audience, time constraints, etc., often times it helps to sketch out some ideas before heading to the computer.

After one idea is chosen, it's time to digitize / vectorize it in Illustrator & make a few edits.

Finish up with extra color grading, gradients, and shadows in Photoshop.
